Nakkertok Park

The Municipality of Val-des-Monts acquired Nakkertok Park in 2018, a forested 300-acre, year-round recreational playground in the Saint-Pierre sector.

Municipal Council has set up a management committee mandated, among other duties, to craft a strategic-development plan for the site. Members include an elected official, citizens, representatives of community organizations and municipal staff.

The management committee meets monthly to put forward recommendations on how to manage and develop Nakkertok Park.

Do note that since November 2018, Val-des-Monts residents have free access to Nakkertok’s impressive network of trails for popular outdoor pursuits like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.
