The goal of the Municipality of Val-des-Monts’ Companion Program is to integrate and supervise children living with a disability or limitation so that they enjoy positive experiences and personal successes despite their challenges.

Our qualified counsellors adapt the activities and the day’s program to the children’s abilities and needs, serve as guides and authority figures and oversee the children’s safety and well-being throughout their time at camp, all while providing a dynamic and entertaining setting.

Companion Program eligibility criteria

  1. Be between 5 and 12 years old (as of September 30, 2023).

  3. Be recommended by a recognized organization (Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais (CISSSO), Pavillon du Parc, Centre hospitalier Pierre-Janet, Centre régional de réadaptation La Ressource, Trait d’union Outaouais, AQETA Outaouais, an educational institution, etc.)
